Basic Rules of Participation This competition is open to family friendly sites only. Sites that contain profanity, pornography, content related to hate and intolerance, content relating to illegal activities or materials, bomb construction, drug materials, nudity, sexist, racist, or otherwise cruel and biased materials will not be eligible to compete. Any site which is already in the competition and adds objectionable material will be immediately disqualified. You may enter up to two (2) sites. You must make sure the webmaster knows both sites are yours, so you will not compete agianst yourself. Sites may belong to any other website or topsite competitions that they wish, unless that competition bars participants from being in additional competitions. You are responsible for the content on your site. Please be sure that it follows our family safety guidelines at all times. Sites whose owners are found to be cheating or behaving in an unsportsmanly manner will be immediately removed from the competition. This includes, but is not limited to, trying to hack our voting system or site, ballot stuffing (sending multiple votes from different ip addresses), or threatening other players into voting for you. Also, if you are found to be sending threatening letters to other fighters--or sending sympathy emails to your own VE friends (telling them not to vote for so and so because that person is bad, etc.) is NOT tolerated. That is slander and libel and is not only bad form, it can also be deemed illegal to belittle someone else for your own personal benefit! One vote per ISP per site per day. No exceptions. If you have two sites in different (Vote Booths) in the competition, you may only vote for each site once per day, per ISP. However, those booths are now IP blocked. IP addresses are blocked till after 12 AM daily, so cheating will not be tolerated. This competition welcomes VE partners, vote exchanges and Vote Boards (however Vote Boards will not help you here.. ) Feel free to meet new VE friends. Mandatory Linkback 1.) All sites participating in One on Ones's web competition MUST have either a banner or text link back to: http://www.oneonone-comp.com. The banner or text link must be visible somewhere, either on the main page, links page, or spirit page. It cannot be buried so far that no one can find it. Sites without a linkback will be temporarily suspended until a linkback is added. Sites that do not add a linkback after being suspended will be disqualified. 2.) All sites entering the competition must also post their approvals banner on their site. If they are limited in webspace and cannot add more banner graphics, they may use a text link that states "approved by One on One (+ name of approver)" that links to http://www.oneonone-comp.com 3.) A link to the voting booth you are participating in is NOT required. However, we recommend that you do. It can help you get more votes if people know where to vote for you. :-) NO BANDWIDTH STEALING from One no One--or from any other site. Bandwidth stealing occurs when someone directly links to an image and puts that image or item on his or her page--calling it from the real page. While it may seem harmless, it steals bandwidth from the real owner's server--which can cost them lots of money when they get a bill for all that extra traffic! You must be age 13 or older in order to participate in the One on One Competition. Your site must have actual content on it. A single page site with only banners and no actual content will not be approved. Your site must have something to it (in other words, do not just build a quick page in order to join up). You must vote for yourself at least 3 days out of 5. Failure to do so in a three week period will result in your website being disqualified from being a member of One on One Web Competition. Should you not vote for yourself for the whole week (5 days), you will be disqualified from being a member of One on One Web Competition.   Need Reliable Hosting?
